Initially, the bow tie had only the purpose of practical convenience. This is hard to believe since now a bow tie is more an indicator of sophistication and elegance than a helpful accessory.

For the first time, a bow tie in a similar form appeared in the seventeenth century. Croatian mercenaries tied scarves around the neck to hold the shirt collars together. Soon this tailoring reception was adopted by fashionable French aristocrats and this developed into something more refined and artistic.

Bow tie quickly gained popularity in France of the XVIII and XIX centuries; remained popular among aristocrats and celebrities of the XX and XXI centuries.  This has become a fashion statement that shows that you are debonair, self-aware, and not too timid to evade the crowd.

Nowadays, a tie often means a sublime style, usually worn at formal events, such as weddings or awarding ceremonies. However, increasingly, the bow tie is worn to add an element of personal style to the look, and it becomes increasingly common to see bow ties worn in everyday attire.

A lot of responsibility arises in this regard because a carelessly tied tie is a sign of a bad tone and destroys the whole exquisite image. Therefore, learning how to tie a bow tie correctly is not only an important skill, yet also an indication of an unsurpassed degree of good taste.

You are already on your way to becoming one of those people who looks elegant and exquisite.
